BEST DOCUMENTARY!   TOUCHING SOUND (22:00) By Shannalee Otanez, Salt Lake City, UT.  After getting a Cochlear implant, Jarin must develop his own identity and explore his place between two cultures.
BEST EXPERIMENTAL!      ELECTRIC SLEEP (02:16) By Kevin Kunze, Stratford, CT. Centers on the motifs of dreams, perception, and mortality.
BEST DRAMA!       CHANCE (15:00) By Nick Van Almsick, St. Louis, MO.  Three stories of chance show how the littlest things can change your life completely.
BEST ANIMATION!               APHROLYPH (03:30) By Harrison Rego, New City, NY. A series of three videos done in the animé style that capture "the essence of cool."
BEST COMEDY!               THE TRUTH ABOUT YOU AND ME (10:47) By Devon Perez, Oakland, CA. When a guy finally builds up the nerve to invite his crush on a date, an unanticipated twist changes their plans.
BEST PSA!              BUCKLE UP (00:30) By Brittany Rich, Coconut Creek, FL. A homemade memorial for a teen who was killed in an auto accident prompted this emotional work.
ARKAN-STAR! BEST ARKANSAS FILM            WATCHING THE WATERS RISE (documentary, 09:52) By Sarah Bailin and Emma Bailin, Little Rock, AR. This story of the Arkansas flood of 1927 uses archival footage, letters, and interviews.

PERSON OR ORGANIZATION WHOSE CONTRIBUTION TO THE T TAURI FILM FESTIVAL HELPS LAUNCH YOUNG FILMMAKERS    PAT REED, THE FIELD SHOP (AUTHORIZED APPLE DEALER, LITTLE ROCK)               Pat's loan of iMac computers and software used in editing student productions and participation as a Final Cut Pro hands-on facilitator in the Digital Video Basics Workshop have been an invaluable contribution to the T Tauri Film Festival Summer Movie Camp.
