Flow with the Pro: Final Cut Pro Editing Workflow

THIS WORKSHOP HAS REACHED CAPACITY

Are you ready for something more than iMovie? Have you launched Final Cut and been a bit overwhelmed? Where to begin, where to end up? Not to fear! This workshop will teach you how to perform basic editing functions in Final Cut Pro. Topics include basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, Ripple, Roll, Slip and Slide tools, finishing and final output.

But it doesn't stop there. The more central focus of the workshop is how to organize your project and sequence your activities. When you do something can be as important as what you do and how you do it. Since there is always a limited amount of time to get everything done, it's important to make sure you're spending your time doing the right thing.

Prerequisites for the workshop include basic familiarity with the Mac OSX operating system and experience with some video editing software.

Course instructor Pat Reed, co-owner of The Field Shop Apple dealership in Little Rock, is an Apple Certified Pro Trainer in the Final Cut Pro application.

The registration deadline is July 10, 2011.
