A short narrative about the dramatic breakdown between two teenagers in a relationship when they discover that the girl is pregnant.

It's Not in Your Head, Allyssa Kaiser (Perpich Center for Arts Education)

Describes some of the stages of depression and provides facts about how it affects people's lives. The film seeks to dispel the widely-held belief that depression is a personal weakness.

Appearance, Maggie Hance (Batesville High School)

Looks at the impact of cigarette smoking on people's physical appearance.

Chewing Tobacco, Nick Decandio (Children's Media Project)

Two young men argue over which is worse, chewing tobacco or smoking cigarettes.

Cost of Dying, Siara Gaylord (Children's Media Project)

About how cigarette smoking robs people of their health and their money!

Drinking and Driving, Kate Adkins, Audra Harris (Fayetteville High School)

A re-enactment of a drunk driving disaster.

SHORT DOCUMENTARY: A Generation of Consolidation Sami Muilenburg, Brooke Noel (Reel Grrls) A documentary exploring the impact of media consolidation on news content and how it affects youth, both as viewers and media makers.
LONG DOCUMENTARY: Poetry in the Dark Daniel Kharlak (Reel Works Teen Filmmaking) A tribute to the filmmaker's grandfather.
COMEDY: Checkmate Evan Waitt (Real to Reel at Raw Art Works) Three high school nerds try out for the dance team. Wackiness ensues in this comedy about proving you have the right moves.
DRAMA: Suspect Phil Davis, Sean Bagley, Spencer Sandoval (Spy Hop Productions) An intense drama about a man who wakes up in the hospital...as he's being questioned, he tries to uncover what he's done.
