Script to Screen Advanced
Script to Screen Advanced lets you build on your past
training and experience by working with others whose skills equal
yours.
OK, so you know which buttons to push on the camera and how to
hold the boom pole. You know the difference between a long shot
and a close-up. Can we please move on? YES! In the
Script to Screen Advanced Workshop, you'll move past the basics
and jump in the deep end of the pool.
The time you save not repeating past lessons lets you focus more
on the elements that will make your movie stand out--script
writing, editing, and sound track enhancements. As in Script to
Screen Basics, you'll experience the whole process. You'll just
experience more of it! Concludes with a
premiere screening of your movie.
Students who have their own cameras are encouraged to bring them.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION:
For students entering grades 7-12 with some prior filmmaking
training or experience
(T Tauri Movie Camp Video Basics or Documentary Filmmaking or
comparable)

DATES AND TIMES:
Wednesday-Friday, July 23-25, 9 AM to 4 PM
Saturday, July 26, 9 AM to NOON
LOCATION:
University of Arkansas Community College

COST:
$75, includes all equipment and supplies, an official T Tauri
Film Festival t-shirt, admission to the July 26 Young Filmmaker
Competition Awards Ceremony, and a DVD copy of the movie produced in the
workshop. Students provide their own brown bag
lunches and beverages.
REGISTRATION:
1. Print and complete a
Registration Form.
2. Print and have your
parent or guardian complete a Risk and Consent Form.
3. Mail both forms, along with
the $75 workshop fee, to:

A registration confirmation will be
mailed to the person whose signature appears on the completed Risk and Consent
Form.
Cancellations received on or
before June 15, 2008 will qualify for a full refund, minus a $10 cancellation
fee. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received after June 15, 2008.
