Script to Screen Basics
The Script to Screen Basics Workshop at the T Tauri Film
Festival & Movie Camp will give you the ideas, skills, and experience to begin
your own movie making adventure!
Whether you're interested in filmmaking as a
possible career, or you're just looking for a new challenge, the
Script to Screen Basics Workshop (formerly called the Digital Video Basics
Workshop) will help you reach your goals. Working in teams
with others your age and experienced filmmaker/instructors, the
3 1/2-day workshop let's you experience the entire movie
making process. You'll begin with pre-production (coming up with
an idea, writing a script, assembling equipment and props,
organizing and scheduling the production), move on to production
(directing, acting, shooting, sound recording) and post-production
(editing, creating titles, adding music), and conclude with a
premiere screening of your first ever movie.
Students who have their own cameras are encouraged to bring them.
The registration deadline is June 30, 2008.

DATES AND TIMES:
Wednesday-Friday, July 23-25, 9 AM to 4 PM
Saturday, July 26, 9 AM to NOON
LOCATION:
University of Arkansas Community College
2005 White Drive, Batesville, Arkansas
COST:
$75, includes all equipment and supplies, an official T Tauri
Film Festival t-shirt, admission to the July 26 T Tauri Film
Festival Finale Screening, and a DVD copy of the movie produced in the
workshop. Students provide their own brown bag
lunches and beverages.

1. Print and complete a
Registration Form.
2. Print and have your
parent or guardian complete a Risk and Consent Form.
3. Mail both forms, along with
the $75 workshop fee, to:

A registration confirmation will be
mailed to your parent or guardian.
Cancellations received on or
before June 15, 2008 will qualify for a full refund, minus a $10 cancellation
fee. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received after June 15, 2008.
